Refunds and Exchanges

What is your return and/or exchange policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with any book purchased from Krause Publications, you may return it within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, less any shipping & handling charges. All books must be in mint resalable condition. A copy of your original purchase invoice must accompany the return. Any return received at 14 days will be given a credit toward future purchases and no returns are accepted after 30 days.

What should I do if I have purchased a book from a bookstore or other retailer and am not satisfied?
Returns directly to the publisher can only be accepted if the product was purchased directly from the publisher. Any other return should be made directly with the retailer from whom you purchased the product.

Shipping & Handling

What options are available for shipping?
We offer a variety of shipping options, including media mail through the USPS, Ground Services through FedEx/UPS and Expedited Service. Air Printed Matter is available for Canadian Addresses. Standard and Expedited services are also available for International Orders.

How much is shipping & handling:

U.S. Addresses:
  • USPS: $4.00 for the first item and $2.25 for each additional
  • Ground: $7.00 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional
  • 2nd Day: $15.00 for the first item and $5.00 for each additional
  • Overnight: $25.00 for the first item and $7.00 for each additional

International Addresses:
  • Air Printed Matter: $20.95 for the first item and $5.95 for each additional
  • International First Class: $32.95 for the first item and $7.95 for each additional
  • Worldwide Express: $42.95 for the first item and $7.95 for each additional

Canadian Addresses:
  • Canadian Air Parcel Post: $10.00 for the first item and $5.00 for each additional

Delivery Time

Unless a product specifically states an expected due date, all products are in stock and ready for shipping. Orders placed before 2:30pm central time, Monday through Friday and processed that same business day and are shipped out within 48 hours. Orders placed after 2:30pm central time are processed the next business day and ship out within 72 hours. When selecting a delivery method, please consider the processing time in addition to the delivery times outlined below:

U.S. Addresses:
  • USPS: 7-21 business days
  • Ground: 7-10 business days
  • 2nd Day: 2-4 business days
  • Overnight: 1-3 business days

International Addresses:
  • Air Printed Matter: 7-21 business days
  • International First Class: 4-8 business days
  • Worldwide Express: 2-4 business days

Canadian Addresses:
  • Canadian Air Parcel Post: 10-20 business days

How can I check the status of my order?
Our customer service team is available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm central time at 1-800-258-0929 within the U.S. and at 715-445-2214 outside of the U.S. You may also email any inquiries to bookorders@krause.com. Please have your order reference number available when making any inquiries.

I received a catalog in the mail with a special offer. Can I take advantage of that same offer if I order online?
Yes. When checking out, you will be asked to enter any coupon code you may have at that time. Nearly all print specials will also be available online; however. there may be an exclusive print offer from time to time that is not available online.

What payment options do you accept?
We currently accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover/Novus.

May I mail my order with any other form of payment?
Yes. Simply print out your shopping cart just prior to the final step of order completion, so that your full order, along with your name, address and phone number are visible and mail it to us with your check or money order. Please send the order to:
